- A wine grab is a fundraiser with donated bottles of wine. Tickets will be sold to attend the fundraiser for $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Bottles of wine are wrapped and displayed. Attendees sign in as they enter the library and will be called out in that order to choose their wrapped bottle of wine. Wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres and conversation will be enjoyed the rest of the evening.

Vernon District Public Library is hosting our 3rd annual wine tasting. Well Red will be held on Thursday, March 23rd at 6:30pm.
A wine grab is a fundraiser with donated bottles of wine. Tickets will be sold to attend the fundraiser for $15-$20. Bottles of wine are wrapped and displayed. Attendees sign in as they enter the library and will be called out in that order to choose their wrapped bottle of wine. Wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres and conversation will be enjoyed the rest of the evening.
Every ticket purchased will be entered into our grand prize drawing. We will also have other raffle baskets.
The purpose of this exciting event is for the library to continue providing literary enrichment and programming to the community. We are a Township Library located in the Village of Vernon, Michigan. Vernon has a population of just over 750 people. Even though we are in a small community, we also serve the surrounding township. Funding for libraries has decreased greatly in the last four years. Therefore we must find alternative avenues of funding so we can continue to have programming and literary enrichment for our community.
